The right person should be friendly, calm, easy to talk to and comfortable around dogs.He can sometimes become anxious or overwhelmed, so it is important that the PA can remain calm, give reassurance and communicate clearly without rushing him.We are looking for someone who can encourage independence rather than doing everything for him, while still being available to offer support and prompting when needed.Experience of autism would be helpful, but finding someone with the right personality, patience and understanding is equally important.
