Care Assistant for a young person age 20 living in Delves Consett. P/T@ £115/weekly

This role is not gender restricted.
Total of 8.5 hours per week
 £13.50 per hour.

 Must be available Monday,
Wednesday & Sunday.
 Shifts will vary on a weekly basis depending on my diary, usually working 2 out of the 3 days.


I'm a 20 year old female autistic, living in the Delves Lane, Consett area, I am looking for a PA to support me with a range of daily living activities such as laundry, food shopping, preparing meals and domestic tasks. Also I'll need to you to support me with accessing the community for a range of activities.
 I love my 2 dogs, singing & music - in which I have a very varied taste and slso art/photography. I also love a good shopping spree occasionally and would like to attend swimming. I love to cook and bake too. 
My PA is someone confident & patient, able to motivate me to get started and then complete activities.

It is important for me to access the community in several ways and at different times so I really need a PA that is flexible as the actual times of the working hours will vary on a weekly basis, particularly for the social aspect of the role.

Previous PA experience is not essential however an Understanding of Autism, both mental health and physical challenges would be an advantage. I’m looking for friendliness, patience, willingness to learn and good organisation skills. Your character is key to the success of this role. I live with my family who will share information to help you build a great understanding of and relationship with me as I start to develop some independence.
